currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Internet Society of China, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Fuxi Think Tank, Chairman of the National Next-Generation Internet Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Chief Advisor on Information Technology to the Ministry of Justice, Chairman of the Industrial Control Security Professional Committee of the China Hydropower Engineering Society, Standing Committee Member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Member of the Expert Advisory Committee on Science and Technology Supervision of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and Member of the Working Committee on Social Responsibility in the Internet Industry. He also holds positions such as Independent Director of Xinhua News Agency and Teled New Energy Co., Ltd. He previously served as Director of the National Computer Network and Information Security Management Centre, Director of the Information Centre of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Secretary-General of the Internet Society of China. He has been Vice Chairman of the Internet Society of China since 2008 and served as Vice Chairman of the China Cyberspace Security Association from 2019 to 2023. Since 2020, he has served as an independent director for companies including Xinhua Net and AsiaInfo Security.
